A day in the life of a seamstress

A day in the life of a seamstress. How do you do just one day? This last week I finshed two dresses and two shirts and went to two Rodeo Queen Contests to watch the girls that were wearing my dresses. Two of them won and the other one did not. I also made a pair of chaps. put sequins on some vests, taught 4-H, practiced with the Dinosaur Roundup Rodeo Riders, spent time with my husband and kids. Wow! Life never slows down! It is now July 1st and I started this post on June 5th! Let me share with you my Monday! I woke up around 5 and started working I finished putting sequins on the 24 saddle pad covers that I had made for the Dinosaur roundup Rodeo Riders(I had already finished the 26 vests!) Took Kimmy to quilting class(no I don't teach her myself!) Then I finished a zipper in a skirt, made a shirt for the 4th of July with fringe and sequins, altered two more shirts which ment putting a zipper in one shirt so it wouldn't pop open while the young lady was riding her horse and taking in the sides of the other one. All this was done before 5 p.m. when I left to go practice with the riders again! When I have more time to post I'll give a more detailed accounting of what I do all day!
